I'm sure it could be with carbon fiber and fiberglass. Issue would be whether it could be robust enough for combat/field duty. As a structural technician we use composites on aircraft for all sorts of structural support. I would think som sort ofa composite layer of carbon, steel, fiberglass, and/or titanium could be used to lesson weight in areas.

If we don't get on with a tank development in the USA we are going to get our clock cleaned in the next tank battle - Its not the old days anymore. If you ain't developing and testing you are losing ... And for goodness sake we DO NOT need an electric tank.
