Such things paint the entire police community with a horrible color.

The victim's will never be compensated and handsome have committed suicide. This also happened in the canadian indian reservational school system. Kids
Were molested, some were murdered. Those who survive often become drunks and alcoholics and commit suicide.

You also have had Boy Scoutmasters who were gay molest boys. Its sick. Cities and nine profit organizations paid millions. This also happened to the catholic church as well With pedophile priests who molested boys.. Sick people in all segments of society.

Wow...read the whole article. After my 6 year stint in the service, I spent the next 30 in Law enforcement. This is such a breach of public trust, ethics and personal/professional morale code. As the saying goes, it only takes a few bad apples to spoil the whole barrel, hence painting the Law Enforcement community with such a broad brush that everyone tends to get lumped in by the actions of a few. I remembered this happening in the service as well when a few marines were accused of raping minors in the outlying villages surrounding Schwab and Hansen. Sad state of affairs about thwoing ones integrity away to fulfill their warped desires.

The "few bad apples" line needs to stop. It's not "a few." There are systemic issues in law enforcement and the criminal justice system. I would go as far to say as good officers are few and far between.

Tell me where are the "good" ones? You have the cops who are corrupt, the cops who abuse their power. The cops who report the bad cops get kicked out and blacklisted. So then you have cops who won't speak up because they don't want to lose their job. So where are these "good" cops then?
