SFC Joe S. Davis Jr., MSM, DSL We cut way back on buying junk food things like cookies and chips and also have gone to store brands. A name brand gallon of milk we used to by now cost $6.00/gallon. The store brand is $2.78/gallon. That's only one example of how we have trimmed out our food cost.
