Tuberville under pressure from Republicans over military holds
Holding up promotions is not a good idea, but this stupid administration doesn't want to hire back the soldiers they kicked out because they didn't want to get the covid vaccine, but allow new recruits who are not forced them to get the vaccine.
The Biden administration does the worst policy decisions ever.
No wonder they have the worst ratings of any President the last fifty years.
President Brokeback Biden is a failure. Bidenomics sucks. It is not a discipline, but leftist stupidity.

Larry Summers slams Biden economic agenda as 'increasingly dangerous' | CNN Business
Larry Summers, the former Obama and Clinton official, slammed parts of President Joe Biden’s economic agenda as “increasingly dangerous” this week, saying it could end up causing higher prices for Americans.
Biden’s statement is a prime example of how careful wording can make a statement accurate. Biden’s saying "below 4%" made his statement correct. But by setting a 50-year timeline, Biden cordons off two earlier periods in which unemployment was below 4% for much longer. We looked at the Bureau of Labor Statistics’ official measurement for the unemployment rate and found four periods that met or neared the threshold Biden established in his remark. For the period under Biden, the unemployment rate fell to 3.9% in December 2021, then popped back up briefly to 4% in January 2022, and then fell to 3.8% in February 2022. It has remained below 4% ever since, through the last published month, May 2023.
************************************************************************
Biden’s statement would’ve been wrong had he said unemployment has been "4% or below" for the longest stretch in 50 years. That distinction goes to Trump, who oversaw an unemployment rate of 4% or under for 24 months.

Fact check: Did Biden set a modern record for low unemployment rates?
In what the White House billed as a major address on economic policy, President Joe Biden touted his record on jobs. He boasted that the unemployment rate during much of his tenure has been below 4%, which is considered a strong achievement by historical standards.
"Since President Biden took office in January 2021, Americans have faced increasingly higher prices for food, gasoline, and other common household items. And while prices have been going up, wages have been going down, placing additional stress on family finances."

Senate Majority Leader Schumer (DEMOCRAT-NY) could do away with Senator Tuberville's military hold on a simple procedural rule. Senator Schumer could have done this MONTHS ago. WHY DOES'NT SENATOR SCHUMER DO THAT? That is a far better question than the one you are asking.
Notice how I made my point without the divisive language? Your comment reads more like you're looking for a shin-kicking contest than for principled, civil discourse.
Pick yourself up a copy of "How to Win Friends and Influence People."

In a reversal,Schumersays he will move forward to confirm hundreds military promotions previously...
In a reversal of a months-long stance, Senate Majority Leader ChuckSchumersaid on Tuesday that he will bring a resolution to the Senate floor that, if passed, would overcome the military promotions block from Sen. Tommy Tuberville. The Alabama Republican has held up more than 300 promotions over his objections to the military’s reproductive rights policy.
So, are you just a guy looking for shin kicking contests? Strange hobby.
