I disagree, we need to look at 5. ,10 and 15 years out, I'm sure there'll be a rust belt within the USA with 40% of the auto workers unemployed because you will no longer need engineers of people casting engine blocks. The Fraudulent and deceiving inflation reduction act is like crock of Sierra. it picks winners and losers with big government socialism through the regulatory state and not allowing for natural progression or obsolescence. Because we don't have wealth that renewable energy is inefficient period All these stupid democrats try to work and signal and get us away from natural gas and other fossil fuels. When China and India are switching over to natural gas! The Prime Minister of India said that they will switch from coal to natural gas by 2070 stupid democrats are putting in regulations right now. That are gonna raise the price of purposes, air conditioning refrigerators, and other major appliances by hundreds if not thousands of dollars period so when President Bryan says that all these changes are not gonna affect those making less than a 100 g, he is full of Sierra! The Biden administration with their zealot renewed deal. Panatics are destroying our economy. While the third world get the switch Uber to Queen an inexpensive natural gas. While we rely on any efficient solar power.
The President and his minions have something about or something. Against. Natural gas-fired power plants and nuclear energy. the idiocy and you wonder why the car companies are saying they're losing $20000 for every electric car. They sell period people like me like to travel across country. And maybe drive up to a 800 miles a day. It's really stupid when Gavin Newsom of California. Yes, once no internal combustion engine car builds or imported to California by 2035 comma seventy five percent of California cars were all electric period that would take down the grid period so the science of stupid zealot, democrats and treehuggers just don't get the math and they don't get the science period this article is an apologist shaping article period I think the aggregate long-term will be a loss of jobs going overseas and American auto companies being bailed out by bad decisions. Done by the broke back Francis administration of the Joe Biden crime family catering to the Fringe at the environmental left, which also hates Israel.
This also does not take into consideration. All other independent owned garages and other subcontractors related to the automotive business. That have prospered for over a century with the internal combustion engine. This presidency is going to be a game changer and bringing us down into a dark age of modern times while the second and third world countries will continue to have cheap and reliable energy. The science looked stupid and the environmental left that hates Israel as well.

Somehow you fail to grasp the concept that for every engine block engineer that won't be needed there will be one, if not more, new technology, that probably doesnt even have names yet, engineers needed. You then go on to tell us how even the countries that now rely on coal are looking to change to natural gas. Sure that's a change we made in many places over 50 years ago, but if you're going to be a world leader you should be 50 years ahead of developing countries. Blacksmiths became those independent owned garages you mention and those garages will evolve into something that supports whatever the future mode of transportation becomes. Forward thinking people embrace change, not complain about it as you seem so want to do.

Ok, just read the article and I think you actually should read it again and try to note the ad hominem argument going on here. Few if any GOP members or conservatives are against green energy initiatives, products, or innovations. In fact, some have even come out on the floor of Congress in support of how some of these products can be great or useful. You also do not need to be a climate alarmist to support these initiatives. A primary edict of conservative members is to be fiduciary. In the green energy arena, a lot of technologies are being developed and perfected and it would be dumb for anyone who is investment savvy to not invest in these technologies for the future. This article suggests there is only one of two options (you either support fossil fuels or green energy and all the alarmist rhetoric that comes along with it), to which they claim GOP members have picked one side while supporting the other behind the scenes. The thing is, there isn't just one option out there, which is the point many conservatives are trying to make. To elaborate, look at the current infrastructure. Can we immediately move to solar/wind/hydro power and end all fossil fuel options right now? No! Even if we could, are all these options stable or reliable enough to ensure there is enough energy to sustain the nation's (world's) current requirements? No! but that doesn't mean they don't provide significant options to reduce the dependance on fossil fuels using renewable technologies, thus proving to be a good investment. Conservatives are not stupid, especially when it comes to fiscal opportunities. What they take issue with is the urgency and desire to move fully to these undependable energy sources right now. They take issue with climate alarmists who continue to wrongly predict when this world will run out of fossil fuels. They take issue with the scientific communities that censor or hide data which provides sound counter arguments to their climate models. And why? Money. They aren't stupid either, they're just greedy for the money.
I am personally a strong conservative who is all for conservation and protecting/cleaning up the environment around us. But I am also influenced by my pocketbook and the ability for technology to meet my needs and/or requirements. I have solar panels to reduce the amount I pay for electricity. I seriously looked at the EV option when I purchased a vehicle a couple of months ago. But in the end, wind and solar failed a good portion of Texas during the freeze a few years ago and my family/home was significantly affected by it. I did the research on EVs and noted I would not be saving anything, I'd be paying more upfront, and they hardly protect the environment when you look at the huge quarries we create to extract the minerals required for batteries. Finally, I have investments in multiple areas, to include sustainable and renewable energy sectors because I am not financially stupid. That does not make me, or any other conservative a hypocrite, as none are saying no to these technologies. They're simply saying we're not ready or able to fully commit to any over what we have already. Nor should we be forced to when there are clearly other options.

None of them voted in the affirmative. Just like infrastructure. They only fool the foolish.
