A pair of senators wants new criminal penalties for scammers who prey on veterans, arguing the punishment is needed to discourage would-be wrongdoers from targeting individuals who have already sacrificed for their country.

Veterans may be more vulnerable to scams and after the contributions they have made to our country and the world at large, this is a travesty.

SFC Joe S. Davis Jr., MSM, DSL Let's hope this help but in my opinion it won't deter many from scamming Veterans. Scammers will continue on with business as usual most likely.
