No flag other than the US Flag and the State flag need to be flown on any government buildings...not the Pride Flag, not the Christian FLag, not a Muslim Flag, not any flag other than taxpayer funded state and federal flags. Keeps government out of social politics and reduces divisions. If yo start flying one you have to start flying them all.

POW and MIA Flags though sometimes are flown with the Flag of the United States but usually at a lower level and perhaps under on the same pole. That of course represents Military Members Who paid huge prices of sacrifice in combat.

SMSgt Lawrence McCarter - It's my understand that other flags can be flown with the U.S. flag, but no flag should ever be flowing higher than the U.S. flag. I did some quick research to verify, and what I found was that other flags can be flown at the same level/height of the U.S. but no flag is suppose to be larger or flown above the U.S. flag.

After centuries of hate and discrimination, the gay community just wants to be heard.
I can recall back in the bad old days when the African-American community, to be heard, had to yell "I'm Black and I'm Proud."
That is what the Pride month is all about, just some folks wanting to be recognized.

Stan...I hear you loud and clear but no flag other than a US Flag and the state or county falg should be flown on official government buildings. FLy the pride flag on your car, your house, your business anywhere that is private but the government should only fly the official flags that government entity works under. I am not against anyone flying a flag of their choice...may not agree with what it stands for but that is my opinion...but, on private property or carrying it in a parade etc, knock yourself out...just not on official government buildings.

Lt Col Scott Shuttleworth When I have this flag out it's to honor my ancestral grandfathers who selflessly volunteered to give up their lives if necessary to help create and defend this nation.
