PARIS — America’s top military officer says training for Ukrainian forces on advanced U.S. Abrams tanks has started, but those those weapons crucial over the long term in trying to expel Russia from occupied territory will not be ready in time for Kyiv’s imminent counteroffensive.

The problem with advanced weaponry is its effective use and the training required to be effective with it.

Wow. So the tanks that have to be rebuilt and the fully trained people to operate and maintain them won't all magically appear next week. I'm sure that is a complete shock to most of the public and at least half of Congress, but I certainly hope no one reading this HERE is at all surprised.
