Rules for military base visitors still missing after years of waiting

This not a workable idea. Its something a congress critter with no world wide military experience would come up with having no understanding as to why it wont work out like they want.
They want simple...ok fine simple and basic works for an Army depot that houses some reserve equipment and Depot level maintenance facility. But basic and simple does not work for a facility that houses strategic assets, vulnerable unarmed human masses, intelligence gathering or processing centers, Federal courts that may be adjudicating a case concerning foreign or domestic terrorist or hundred of other reason ease senior commander needs to set the conditions for allowing non military on to a post and the process to set those conditions.

The only way to set a entry process for all services and posts is to set them all at the highest level currently in use...So now.... Gold star mom is not getting in at Fort what ever we are calling it today, because Fort what ever we are calling it today has the same entry process as Harvey Point Defense Testing Activity in North Carolina
