Transgender veterans and advocates rallied outside the Capitol Wednesday to demand Veterans Affairs officials follow through on promises to provide gender-affirming surgery at department medical centers and to implore lawmakers to enact additional protections for transgender troops facing an uncertain future in the ranks.

WHy would they perform gender affirming surgeries at VA medical centers whenthey don't privde fullmedical and especially dental unless you are 100% disabled or it is service connected? Let's take care of the real medical issues first for our vets then and only then do elective stuff.

The VA has turned its back on Transgender Veterans. I know of 13 Veterans eligible for care but will not step into a VA because they have been ABUSED,NEGLECTED AND DENIED CARE.
