Today's Scripture & Insight:
The buzz in the room faded to a comfortable silence as the book club leader summarized the novel the group would discuss. My friend Joan listened closely but didn’t recognize the plot. Finally, she realized she had read a nonfiction book with a similar title to the work of fiction the others had read. Although she enjoyed reading the “wrong” book, she couldn’t join her friends as they discussed the “right” book.
The apostle Paul didn’t want the Corinthian believers in Jesus to believe in a “wrong” Jesus. He pointed out that false teachers had infiltrated the church and presented a different “Jesus” to them, and they had swallowed the lies (2 Corinthians 11:3–4).

Gossip falls under the title of Witchcraft in the Bible. Because it brings strife and disunion to the flock. It breeds animus among the faithful.
We have always had gossip and cliques in Church no matter what denomination.
But it is one aspect of the World - with all its malevolencies - into the Church . We have falsely brought the World into the Church. This is NOT what Christ commanded. He said to bring the Church into the World.
Quite a difference between the two actions.
The World into the Church- it breeds discontent. The Church into the World - It brings Hope, Love and Faith , to name a few aspects, into the World.
Both actions oppose each-other.
Christ said He sends us out as Sheep among wolves.
MLK junior even refreshed the feeling when he said only Love can stop Hate.
I have a question to any who read this ; What is your Church against.??
A few others are ;
What is your Church for??
Who did Christ say to condemn ??
Whom did He say to Pray for??
How can you both Pray for someone and condemn them as well?
Do you not breed discontent and strife when you condemn/ gossip on another?
Remember what people say about Religion and Church goers?? That they are all Hypocrites ?? How do you think this came about.
