Army veteran suing timeshare company over predatory lending practices

The Federal Trade Commission has joined a lawsuit filed last year by a former soldier and his wife, alleging that the timeshare company they bought into did not follow specific federal regulations that govern lending to members of the military, according to a Tuesday release from the FTC.
The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau has also signed onto the appeal brief, filed Monday, urging the court to overturn a judge’s decision to dismiss the case based on lack of “concrete injury” to the couple, Emmanuel and Tamarah Louis.

Those guys are worse than used care salesmen. They get you to a place of their choosing, give you something free - (to make you feel indebted to them), and are relentless in pursuing you to sign on the line!

CSM Charles Hayden Go for the free meal and gift then tell them you filed bankruptcy six months ago and can't get a loan for five more years! Personally, I think they should be outlawed. They are nothing more than a legal scam right now and pray on people who generally can't afford the payments.
