CTV News is actually Canadian television news. Since some of you run away like the scared Knights of Monty Python and the Holy Grail, I knew that you won't melt if you look at something from Canadian news.
President Biden keeps talking like the weak Kaiser of the German Weimar Republic 1919-1933 before he gave up all his power to Adolf Hitler.
I don't think Kamala Harris is going to invoke The Enabling Act and take full control of the USA by decree.
Canadians are watching. Canada is basically joined at the hip with the USA and is a de- facto 51st state. 38 of the 50 states have Canada as our biggest trading partner.
The Canadian TSX stock market follows in line very often with the American Stock Exchange and the NASDAQ.
When the US gets inflation, Canada gets inflation as well. If the US booms, Canada prospers. If the US goes into a recession, Canada can go into a very deep recession. With 1/10 the population of the United states, it can disproportionately affect Canada.
When Governor Whitmer of Michigan wanted to cut the underwater oil pipeline to Canada, the Canadian government protested and it almost became an international incident.
I was looking at my federal government Thrift Savings Plan and it's down about 40%.
My Canadian stock portfolio plan is about par or zero. My American portfolio in stocks is about -27% but it would have been about -40% had it not had oil and energy stocks to offset the draconian President Biden anti-economy mindset affecting everybody's stocks because he cuts production and raises interest rates and does exactly what president Trump didn't do. President Trump left us with a 1.2% inflation rate and a 6.5% growth rate. People know this and they're voting like I did today by absentee ballot.
Thanks to president biden, my oil stocks are up between 15% and 45% because he's trying to destroy the fossil fuel industry.
Our transition to clean energy to NetZero is not feasible without bringing down the economy at the same time.
President Biden and his minions of the green New Deal don't care that India and China are given an additional 30 to 40 years to comply while we suffer. China keeps building coal-fired power plants as we speak.

Thank You Brother Steve for your comments to LTC Stephen Conway concerning voting absentee, and for playing the video "Democracy is at risk, warns Joe Biden. I heard something interesting on TV today on Newsmax that goes something like "they are doing the opposite of what they say they are doing but they will accuse you of doing what they are doing". So yes, Democracy is definitely at risk but not by us.

When I went to Fort McClellan officer basic course in 1997, one of the Vietnamese boat people picked up by the American aircraft carrier was a second lieutenant who invited the aircraft carrier Captain to his commissioning ceremony decades later. This active duty Lieutenant lived in Garden Grove, California.
His brother became Lieutenant a year before him. I'm sure both are retired by now probably as intended Colonel or colonels. The Vietnamese diaspora who fled Vietnam have really helped the United States.

In a matter of days, Biden has stated that he will shut down all coal mine plants in the country, will not approve any more drilling and is fearmongering the American people. Democracy is not in danger, as the only direct democracy is in state elections, and no state can influence or interfere in another states elections. A national abortion ban is absolutely laughable claim by the Dems, who fucked up royally by NOT codifying it in the past 50 years (because we all know abortion issue was a democrat stick they could use to galvanize their constituency), and claim we are 1 day away from fascism - yet they are the ones, in partnership with tech, who suppressed, silenced, and cancelled anyone who spoke out against their narrative.
The Russia Collusion investigation was illegal and started by the Clinton campaign team, The Covid draconian lockdowns, school closures, and fear were ALL not neccessary, the virus likely did start in the Wuhan lab according to congressional documents, Hunter Bidens laptop was a real thing, and not misinformation.
They are attempting to regulate speech, and take away peoples ability to speak their mind
