An Army warrant officer stationed at Fort Stewart, Georgia, pleaded guilty July 14 to defrauding the government out of “millions of dollars” in COVID-19 relief funds meant for small businesses and student loan forgiveness, the Justice Department said.
CWO2 Dara Buck, also-known-as Dara Butler, 39, initially was charged after investigators said Buck was responsible for illegally submitting more than 150 Paycheck Protection Program loan applications for co-conspirators and her own personal gain.

SFC Joe S. Davis Jr., MSM, DSL I hope this piece of $hit person hasn't reached the twenty year mark in her career and gets kicked out with no retirement or benefits. I am pretty sure that a discharge will be in order for this conviction. I'm not sure how that works with retirement and Veteran benefits though. Maybe someone who know this could answer this.

GySgt Jack Wallace I agree with prison time and restitution for sure. A dishonorable discharge would be better, but this is a federal case and not military so I don't know if they can give her that or not unless they hit her with UA while in prison. Anyway you look at it she needs to be stripped of any chance for a good discharge of any kind and any possible Veteran's benefits.

Cpl Vic Burk - Thats why I say Dishonorable because you don't get any benefits. The rest she crossed the line and now she got to pay the price.
