The Army last week unveiled two new steps in its effort to revamp how it responds to sexual harassment and assault in the ranks, bringing the service closer to compliance with congressionally mandated reform targets.
As required by the annual defense bill for 2022, the Army officially established an independent prosecutor’s office, reporting to Army Secretary Christine Wormuth, according to a general order made public Thursday.

The Army last week unveiled two new steps in its effort to revamp how it responds to sexual harassment and assault in the ranks, bringing the service closer to compliance with congressionally mandated reform targets.
As required by the annual defense bill for 2022, the Army officially established an independent prosecutor’s office, reporting to Army Secretary Christine Wormuth, according to a general order made public Thursday.

SFC Joe S. Davis Jr., MSM, DSL It's about time. Maybe, just maybe, this will be a step in the right direction towards the sexual harassment problems.

These days it seems like we are overloaded with Special Prosecutors, Attorney's, Political activists and the like, but we have more lawlessness and less lawful behavior of the citizenry of our country overall! I am not sure what this latest action by the Army will succeed as intended...and of course, it will spread to the other military branches as well... Color me gray on whether this will be a good thing or a bad and will lessen the discipline needed in the military... Just my initial thoughts on this topic...
