This will not be the end of what this SCOTUS will do. Expect challenges to contraceptives and same-sex marriage.
A sad day for liberty in this nation.

PO1 Robert Payne - I would not hold my breath. I would waager we see something within the next 30-60 days, a filing at least. Thomas has already said the court should look at those issues. He is just waiting, like a vulture on a fence.

There seem to be a lot of people celebrating the return of back alley abortions today.
Seems like a weird cause to champion.
Abortions will continue in the US.
Humans will always abort fetuses for a number of reasons. Even the bible gives instructions on how to perform one (Numbers 5, verse 16)...
The only change is that more women will die.
If you're OK with that, please understand that we don't have a difference of opinion, we have a difference in morals.

SGT Steve McFarland it's instructions for performing "the ordeal of bitter water" which is an abortion.
It's a fluid that, when ingested, induces miscarriage.
If you'd like more specific instructions on how that's done, feel free to read the Talmud. They did a better job of recording the details than the bible did.

SFC Joe S. Davis Jr., MSM, DSL in case you wanted to read it directly.
"Then the priest shall make her take an oath, saying, “If no man has lain with you, if you have not turned aside to uncleanness while under your husband’s authority, be immune to this water of bitterness that brings the curse. But if you have gone astray while under your husband’s authority, if you have defiled yourself and some man other than your husband has had intercourse with you,” —let the priest make the woman take the oath of the curse and say to the woman—“the Lord make you an execration and an oath among your people, when the Lord makes your uterus drop, your womb discharge; now may this water that brings the curse enter your bowels and make your womb discharge, your uterus drop!” And the woman shall say, “Amen. Amen.”
That’s a lengthy way to say that if a woman cheats on her husband and gets pregnant, the priest is to perform an abortion by having her drink “bitter water.”

SFC Michael Hasbun Yeah, and it only had one specific application, infidelity. Spin it how you want, but God didn't condone abortion otherwise.

SGT Steve McFarland - other than the flood you mean? When he himself aborted almost the entirety of the species? When he aborted millions of babies? Other than that, right?
Or when he murdered all the first born kids in Egypt, to include infants? Oh well, I guess it's ok since they were already born, that's just murder, that doesn't count.
Or when he had his Armies rip open the stomachs of all the pregnant women in Tappuah? I guess it's not an abortion when Armies do it instead of Doctors, I suppose...
Or when he ordered the slaughter of every woman, infant and child in Amalek, I suppose that doesn't count either.
How about all of the following infanticide, I suppose none of these bible references count either?
Psalms 137:9 - Happy shall he be, that taketh and dasheth thy little ones against the stones.
1 Samuel 15:3 - Now go and smite Amalek, and utterly destroy all that they have, and spare them not; but slay both man and woman, infant and suckling, ox and sheep, camel and ass.
Exodus 12:29 - And it came to pass, that at midnight the LORD smote all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, from the firstborn of Pharaoh that sat on his throne unto the firstborn of the captive that was in the dungeon; and all the firstborn of cattle.
Isaiah 13:16 - Their children also shall be dashed to pieces before their eyes; their houses shall be spoiled, and their wives ravished.
Hosea 13:16 - Samaria shall become desolate; for she hath rebelled against her God: they shall fall by the sword: their infants shall be dashed in pieces, and their women with child shall be ripped up.
2 Kings 15:16 - Then Menahem smote Tiphsah, and all that were therein, and the coasts thereof from Tirzah: because they opened not to him, therefore he smote it; and all the women therein that were with child he ripped up.
Numbers 31:17 - Now therefore kill every male among the little ones, and kill every woman that hath known man by lying with him.
Psalms 135:8 - Who smote the firstborn of Egypt, both of man and beast.
Acts 7:19 - The same dealt subtilly with our kindred, and evil entreated our fathers, so that they cast out their young children, to the end they might not live.
Psalms 136:10 - To him that smote Egypt in their firstborn: for his mercy endureth for ever:
Exodus 1:16 - And he said, When ye do the office of a midwife to the Hebrew women, and see them upon the stools; if it be a son, then ye shall kill him: but if it be a daughter, then she shall live.
Matthew 2:16-18 - Then Herod, when he saw that he was mocked of the wise men, was exceeding wroth, and sent forth, and slew all the children that were in Bethlehem, and in all the coasts thereof, from two years old and under, according to the time which he had diligently enquired of the wise men. Amos 1:13 - Thus saith the LORD; For three transgressions of the children of Ammon, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they have ripped up the women with child of Gilead, that they might enlarge their border.
The God of the bible clearly delights in the slaughter of the innocent.
