Once again, #letsgobrandon making up divisive issues out of thin air. Bad enough he supports murdering children in the womb to point of birth. Invites unvetted illegals by the millions into the country and gives them work permits while millions of Americans are out of work, takes no meaningful action against the rivers of fentanyl and other drugs coming across the border, or fails to uphold the most basic federal laws such as intimidation of sitting justices. Sends millions of US treasure to a corrupt country with little to no US national interest while crippling our country's infrastructure and slow walking efforts to feed our babies (perhaps long form abortion?) He long ago left Trump far in the dust on sheer volume of lying (still waiting for a list of even 10% of the claimed 30,000 Trump lies.)

1. Assuming that were true (illegals are the ones picking our crops), those companies allowing this to happen are breaking the law.
2. So you’re good with handing them low level, low paid, non taxed work? Essentially taking advantage of these people?
3. How about we instead fix the border, fix immigration laws, and enable policy to allow more legal immigrants to come in and create temporary work visa for such work? Then it can be tracked, companies operate legally, and wages are taxed.

By the way, both of your links resulted in missing page errors.

Maj Kevin "Mac" McLaughlin Don't know who coined the phrase "bigotry of low expectations", but A1C Medrick "Rick" DeVaney response reeks of it. Getting a little off topic from original post but lack of border enforcement is as #fjb says, "a big f**king deal". Likely to raise an eyebrow or two, but the border is easily solved by doing two things: 1. enforce the laws already extant and 2. Pull all CBP off the border. Have CBP & ICE conduct daily random business inspections in every county in the U.S. if illegals are found, they get a chauffeured ride home, the management team vertically into the Board of Directors get mandatory jail sentences and PERSONAL fines. Criminal activity can be handled by local sheriffs augmented by state and feds. Give the DOJ something to do rather than track subversive soccer moms.
Extreme? I have watched, several times, the residential building industry here come to a complete stop for several months when ICE swept the big players in drywall and concrete finishing. (neither of which are unskilled labor, but wages are suppressed by illegals willing to accept low pay for an admittedly physical job)
Bring back the Bracero Program JFK did away with. There were hiring halls in every border town, Agua Prieta, Naco, Nogales, San Luis, Mexicalli etc. A business put in an order for number and duration of need, the broker delivered and returned the braceros. Plenty of oversight and regulations to keep the beauracrat class happy.
Put HB-1 visas under high scrutiny. No company should be allowed to bring (always lower pay) foreigners in unless they have demonstrated they have exhausted their internal upward training, are positively supporting external training at trade schools, community colleges, universities etc.
This ain't hard! One would think if the Dems REALLY were "for the People" they would be all over those simple steps. From a simple guys perspective, it seems the Dems (and Rs- they don't get off the hook) like having subservient foreigners with cute accents wearing face diapers and serving cocktails and canapés at their fancy soirees.

Why Are So Many Individuals Concerned About Issues
Which Should Only Be Decided By The People Involved?
If Gays Marry, How Does It Affect YOU?
If A Lady Decides To Have An Abortion,
The Same Applies.
Basically stated:
Mind Your Own Damn Business & Stay The "L" Out Of Theirs.
