The VIPER rover's mission is first-of-its-kind: Find water that's not on Earth, but on the MOON!
We seem to have been focused more on Planet Mars than on our nearby MOON... our closest satellite celestial body...
This Science video is all about a new mission on Moon and the first thing we are going to do is find WATER! NASA is getting ready to send its first rover to the moon in decades. The VIPER will spend 100 days surveying the South Pole of the lunar surface.
I won't write an epistle this subject, so set your computer up for FULL SCREEN operation and watch and see what is ahead of us on our Celestial MOON!

Probably the most important mission if there will every be a colony on the moon to support manned deep space exploration.

The moon's south pole area has been shown from remote penetration's that there is... The tough part will be examining each crater for water ice... in large quantities...
