Good morning, Rallypoint. Today's Astronomy Picture of the Day (APOD) is titled "Jupiter and Saturn Great Conjunction: The Movie." This seven second video clip was produced by the APOD fans at the National Astronomical Research Institute of Thailand (NARIT). The first sequence shows a relative close up over five days with moons and cloud bands easily visible, followed by a second video sequence, zoomed out, over 9 days.

To travelers of Distant lands
In times of trouble, and separation
Two planets grew, so close in view
We left our screens, cast aside caution
With Grampa Utt n Dad Robertson
We row the boat, Out past the shoreline
Just past sunset, we trim the sail
All life’s troubles, left at the coastline
Breathing in, a dreamy tale
If you ever wanted, to join this captain
and sail alongside, This Mexican man
This year it’s offered, A gift of good times
To travelers of those distant lands
There are no gifts, this sweet evening
Except a sky, ablaze with stars
And a sweet joy, of all companions
The sun has set, and the view is ours
