APOD: 2020 July 15 - Comet NEOWISE over the Swiss Alps

Good morning, Rallypoint. Today's Astronomy Picture of the Day (APOD) is titled "Comet NEOWISE over the Swiss Alps." Web cams at ski resorts don't usually see much, but this one in the Swiss Alps sure did. The composite image was assembled from shots taken the night of July 12-13. Comet NEOWISE (C/2020 F3) will continue to become more accessible to northern hemisphere observers as its motion places it higher in the sky each evening after sunset over the next few weeks. But binoculars are now the best way to find and observe the comet visually.
