I expect that you physically comfortable to a degree and hope that your eternal salvation brings you greater comfort. No doubt you realize that a life focused on comfort is constraining and riskless in this life as it leads to complacency. God consistently takes us out of our personal comfort zone because that is the only way we grow personally and in service to others Mark.
I pray that the LORD continues to stretch us and use us to demonstrate love to neighbors and even strangers. I pray that each one us trusts the LORD as HE leads us out of our comfort zone to bless others, my brother-in-Christ SP5 Mark Kuzinski.

LORD I lift YOUR adopted sons and daughters who are prayer warriors and intercessors to YOU. I pray that use each one of us to intercede for comfort for the suicidal, depressed, despondent, homeless, and those whose homes and businesses have been damaged or destroyed by looters and rioters throughout this nation as well as Australia, Canada, Mexico, India, Europe, Africa, Philippines, Japan, Korea, Central and South America.
I pray for protection and comfort for each child and other vulnerable person who the violent looters, rabid prejudiced protestors, and anarchists would be likely to injure and violate in the cities and towns in this nation and elsewhere in the world.
LORD I pray that YOU release rage among the looters and rioters. I pray that many of them turn on each other as YOU bring discomfort and guilt to most of these radicals. I pray that YOU do what it takes to shake up and sift the radical looters, rioters, and their benighted supporters. If any of them are YOUR future adopted sons and daughters I pray that you “save [them] by snatching them out of the fire; to [those] show mercy with fear, hating even the garment stained by the flesh” Jude 1: 22-23]
‘If any man’s work which he has built on it remains, he will receive a reward. If any man’s work is burned up, he will suffer loss; but he himself will be saved, yet so as through fire.' [1 Corinthians 3:14-15 NASB]
Thank YOU, LORD for sanctification while although uncomfortable is exactly what is needed to transform our soul into the perfect image of our soul to reflect YOUR image, dear LORD.
I pray that each of YOUR adopted sons and daughters who are parents demonstrate patience, compassion, and joy through the uncomfortable times to their children. Enable and empower parents and teach and demonstrate persevering through hard times with grace.
Thank you, LORD for YOUR Word on the temporary comfort in this life and the blessings in eternal life.
“But, as it is written,
a. “What no eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the heart of man imagined, what God has prepared for those who love him” these things God has revealed to us through the Spirit. For the Spirit searches everything, even the depths of God." [1 Corinthians 6:10 ESV]

b. ‘Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction, so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God. For as we share abundantly in Christ’s sufferings, so through Christ we share abundantly in comfort too. If we are afflicted, it is for your comfort and salvation; and if we are comforted, it is for your comfort, which you experience when you patiently endure the same sufferings that we suffer. Our hope for you is unshaken, for we know that as you share in our sufferings, you will also share in our comfort." [2 Corinthians 1:3-7 ESV]

c. ‘But you, beloved, building yourselves up in your most holy faith and praying in the Holy Spirit, keep yourselves in the love of God, waiting for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ that leads to eternal life. And have mercy on those who doubt; save others by snatching them out of the fire; to others show mercy with fear, hating even the garment stained by the flesh.' [Jude 1: 20-23 139:13-16 ESV]

d. Now if any man builds on the foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw, each man’s work will become evident; for the day will show it because it is to be revealed with fire, and the fire itself will test the quality of each man’s work. If any man’s work which he has built on it remains, he will receive a reward. If any man’s work is burned up, he will suffer loss; but he himself will be saved, yet so as through fire.' [1 Corinthians 3: 12-15 NASB]

I pray that each one of YOUR adopted children and their loved ones sleep well Wednesday night.

Good morning Col Burroughs. There is a real tendency to find a place where we feel comfortable, where things are predictable and we feel in control. The problem is that place will become a prison for your life, your emotions and your achievements. As tempting as it might be, once you are comfortable, it's time to move on, out and up!

Lt Col Charlie Brown - Excellent quotes today Charlie - thank you so much for sharing them all. I like your comment on the prison for life, emotions, and achievements. Don;t become stagnate or complacent. Give Tom our very best today and have a wonderful afternoon. Let me leave you with my final thought on today's topic and message Charlie - "May you stretch beyond your comfort zone to reach your individual goals and objectives and as a leader never get too comfortable, stay alert at all times; may you always have a positive attitude and keep resilient at all times during uncertainty; and may you keep yourself and your family strong, safe, and healthy. Always be on Point, don't let comfort deceive you into complacency!" - COL (Ret) Mikel Burroughs
