A truly poignant story. I'm sorry that he doesn't believe that our sacrifices were for a worthy cause. It was a just war well won (and then thrown away to make an ideological statement that was completely wrong). And I'm sorry that it comes from AARP. I have no idea what the hell AARP has to do with this and I hope no one goes away feeling good about AARP, but that's another story...

It was an unwinnable war everyone in the government knew it. They may have not died for nothing but Vietnam sure wasn't worth giving up their life for.
