Sgt (Join to see), I saw the United States Marine Band perform during the Evening Parade at the Marine Corps Barracks (8th & I) in Washington, DC on May 9, 1997. The performance included the United States Marine Drum and Bugle Corps, the Marine Corps Color Guard, the Marine Corps Silent Drill Platoon, Ceremonial Marchers, and Cpl. Chesty, the official mascot of Marine Barracks Washington.
If you've never seen this event in the DC area, put it on your bucket list. It's performed every Friday evening during the spring and summer months. Make reservations; everyone wants to see the performance!
