APOD: 2019 October 22 - Night Sky Reflections from the Worlds Largest Mirror

Good morning, Rallypoint. Today's Astronomy Picture of the Day (APOD) is titled "Night Sky Reflections from the World's Largest Mirror." The "mirror" is actually the Uyuni Salt Flat in Bolivia. After it rains sufficiently, the Uyuni can become the mirror you see here. Captured in April, Antares (constellation Scorpius) and Jupiter are on the left, Sirius (constellation Canis Major) is on the right, and the Large Magellanic Cloud (LMC) is just right of center at about 1 o'clock. The encompassing arch is the Milky Way. Road trip!
