To be frankly honest, my friend CW5 Jack Cardwell in all likelihood "prehistoric" toddlers most likely drank from these "small feeding vessels dating back to the late Bronze Age and early Iron Age."
Feeding an infant from these types of vessels would probably have caused many to choke to death since they have no ability to push the vessel away and there was no "cut-off" valve or safety valve on these vessels.

I may have missed something, but I don't think it said anything about tiny infants drinking from these - I believe it said for weaning and toddlers, who are more than capable of pushing a bottle away. My belief is that "babies" weren't weaned until probably 4-5 years old, as in some countries today (personal knowledge) - so there would have been no problem.

Well that is interesting. Not what I would have expected in pre-historic times.
