Thank you, my friend Sgt (Join to see) for posting the music video of Herb Alpert And The Tijuana Brass performing a tribute to the Beatles who performed a cover of Lenny Welch's song "A Taste Of Honey" in 1966
Song Background: "Paul McCartney recalled, "'A Taste Of Honey' was one of my big numbers in Hamburg – a bit of a ballad. It was different, but it used to get requested a lot."
This song was originally instrumental and written for the 1960 Broadway version of the British play "A Taste of Honey" (1958) by Shelagh Delaney. It was also used in the film adaptation in 1961.
The first vocal version of this song was recorded in 1961 by Billy Dee Williams, who later played Lando Calrissian in the "Star Wars" film franchise. '

"A Taste Of Honey" written by Ric Marlow and Robert William Scott
(originally by Lenny Welch)
Lyrics
A taste of honey
Tasting much sweeter than wine
I dream of your first kiss
And then I feel upon my lips again
A taste of honey
Tasting much sweeter than wine
I will return, yes I will return
I'll come back for the honey and you
Yours was the kiss that awoke my heart
There lingers still, though we're far apart
That taste of honey
Tasting much sweeter than wine
Oh I will return, yes I will return
I'll come back (He'll come back)
for the honey (For the honey)
and you "
