Good kid our Boston boy! He’s from Dorchester so this was in his “back yard”. I haven’t heard if they caught the people who did this but there were good px so hopefully it won’t be long.

I thought that this would happen with the beginning of the destruction of the Confederate monuments. Those monuments have been in their places for years and suddenly they are a problem. One time we were flying to Chattanooga and our S-3 was a history professor at UT Chattanooga. We were approaching a ridgeline where one of the battles of Chattanooga was fought. He said to us, "see those monuments". We replied, "yes,sir". His reply was that no one knew who erected them but they honored units who had fought there. Those monuments were in the backyards of the people who now owned the developed land. I hope they catch those who deface any monument. Some protesters here in Atlanta damaged a "Peace " monument. :-(
