Thank you my friend SGT (Join to see) for sharing the music video of
Bobby Vinton performing the classic and smooth song "Blue Velvet" in honor of the fact that on September 21, 1963, Bobby Vinton started a three week run at No.1 on the US singles chart with 'Blue Velvet'.
“Blue Velvet” is a 1954 classic pop song recorded by The Clovers, and has been covered by numerous artists, such as Bobby Vinton.

"Blue Velvet"
Lyrics
"She wore blue velvet
Bluer than velvet was the night
Softer than satin was the light
From the stars

She wore blue velvet
Bluer than velvet were her eyes
Warmer than May, her tender sighs
Love was ours

Ours, a love I held tightly
Feeling the rapture grow
Like a flame burning brightly
But when she left gone was the glow of

Blue velvet
But in my heart there'll always be
Precious and warm a memory through the years
And I still can see blue velvet through my tears

She wore blue velvet
But in my heart there'll always be
Precious and warm a memory through the years
And I still can see blue velvet through my tears"

Here is the original Blue velvet

I hadn't heard the Clovers before but that was a great song performed by them. I of course remember Bobby Vinton with that great song and not only hearing it on the radio but bought the record as well., Thanks for this post, I enjoyed it.
