Thank you my friend SGT (Join to see) for reminding us that following his successes in David Glasgow Farragut was promoted to become the first U.S. Navy full admiral on July 25, 1866,
During the US Civil War David Farragut served as the joint Naval fleet commander to MG U.S. Grant in the Mississippi River campaigns which freed the Mississippi and dived eastern CSA from western CSA
