If you haven't been to the museum, it is worth the trip. Fascinating stuff, even for an AF vet like me.

Shame that there is such a small crowd. When I was in college and being wooed by the Navy for the NAVROC program got a tour of the Academy and museum. Probably saw this flag but it doesn't stand out, they have so many awesome things in their collection.

Thanks for sharing the news CW5 Jack Cardwell that USNA, Annapolis is holding a viewing of the British Royal Standard that flew over York (present-day Toronto), Canada, and was captured by U.S. forces during the War of 1812.

CW5 Jack Cardwell When I was in the Navy, the ship I was stationed on was sent to Annapolis to be the backdrop of USNA Graduation. I wish I had known about this museum when we were there.
