Thanks for letting us know Maj Marty Hogan that March 16 is the anniversary of the birth of Virginia statesman and Founding Father James Madison Jr. who served as the fourth President of the United States from 1809 to 1817.
He was instrumental in the adoption of the Bill of Rights which was required by several delegates in Continental Congress in order for the U.S. Constitution to be passed.
Rest in eternal peace James Madison Jr. !

Madison was a genius.
Prior to the Constitutional Convention, he studied the histories of all democracies and republics as prep.
He was translating Latin into Greek at age 13, something not all that uncommon fir the schooled back then.

Known as the Father of the Constitution, Madison's small physical stature belies his outsized influence on the genius of our form of government.

Madison. A great man.
