I agree 100% it is time for a Desert Storm memorial. For starters there were aproximately 2,000,000 of us. Secondly it was a historic operation for several reasons, off the top of my head.

1 Largest deployment of American military since the end of the Vietnam War
2 We destroyed the 4th largest Army in the world at the time
3 We were part of the biggest coalition of nations since WW2
4 We did liberate Kuwait
5 Each branch USMC, Army, Navy, USAF played a major role in the outcome.
6 We aren't getting any younger.

I know for a fact that we suffered KIA's in Desert Storm. Ask the the families of PFC Walker, Sgt's Kutz and Gentry.

And SP4 cash who was KIA on Medina ridge he was the only KIA from our unit 3rd Brig 3rd INF Div Aburg
