Like the birther arguments in the case of President Obama; the attacks on Ted Cruz are just smoke and mirrors designed to create doubt in those that have no clue! The thing that make Cruz ineligible to be president his is disdain for the Constitution - he does not believe is separation of church and state and he does not support the Supreme Courts decisions (well unless they support his opinion).

COL Ross Green sir would you be so kind as to provide a cite that supports your position?
If so, please cite where Ted Cruiz advocated or called for a state run religion or religious test to hold office.

As that is what separation of church and state references I'm sure you have something in mind.

Thanks

SSG (Join to see) - I thought as a dual citizen he had to chose one or the other at age 18. He did so that makes him no different than John McCain. I am not happy with anyone in both parties. I think Donald Trump should be a host on Saturday night live and not the POTUS. Hillary should not be President either since she should have approved more money to reinforce the Benghazi safehouse. Winston Churchill resigned as First Lord of the Admiralty (SecNAV) after Gallipoli failure....
here Colin Powell, a non-political 4 Star turned SEC of State tells about Churchill's failure..

To anyone who is STILL an ACTIVE SM.....please watch what you say. This is intended for discussion ONLY. DO NOT resort to bashing politicians or the President. You maintain 1A among other rights, but in a public forum, your 1A right can be your 1A new career move. Play nice and remember SMA (or service equivalent) is ALWAYS watching........

I have voted all 3 parties ...once for Perot too..so I am the most confused this time. I am 53 so I have voted from Reagan's first term on all elections except since leaving for Canada since 2006. Im debating what to do this time...We have conflicting issues and We are appearing as weak as when we failed in 1980 from Desert One disaster trying to rescue the US embassy hostages and now we reward Iran with $100 billion and we hope that they will play fair (the only reason they are is they know sailors and a few held in their country recently released is not worth the $100 billion they are hoping to get very soon)

I am not afraid to speak out. I use facts and I already have my 20 year letter. I have done 3 deployments (Noble Eagle III, OIF 2/3, OEF)
and I am in ILE/CGSOC and graduating in July. I hope to be part of the newer leadership who is supportive but not submissive and who are not groupthinkers or ticket-punchers

I joined the ARNG for fun and I volunteered for OIF with the IDARNG in 2004-2005.
I speak Spanish and my Mother is born in Honduras but is now naturalized U.s. citizen. I am married to a Canadian Indian who i have 2 kids with. I am conservative but empathetic to minorities that both the usa and Canada discriminate against. I am a delivery driver and a Major so I am grounded as a union worker who is not afraid to get my hands dirty.

I have experience in 3 branches of the Army. If what I say is grounds to go after me, then this will be to detriment of the Army since it is best to have diversity in its officer corps and to have moral courage to show other points of view. I stand for the freedom to discuss things/issue with honest differences of opinion but with a sense of respectful disagreement, if applicable, and to learn from others here in Rallypoint too.

When our Founding Fathers added the phrase Natural Born it was when there was a fear that a Brit that was of Royal Blood could become a US citizen then turn around and buy his way into leadership then establish a royal line. So Old English language Natural is to be born on soil.

McCain was born in the Panama Canal Zone, which at the time was a US territory. Additionally, his father was under orders to the US military. Blackstone or de Vattel show that there is not a difference between state and territory, but the authority at the time of birth. Blackstone even discusses if born in a conquered territory. John McCain was born a 'subject', under the legal authority of the United States. Cruz was born a subject of the Queen (Canada was still part of the CW in 1970) and the nation state of Canada.

MSG Brad Sand - This Dialogue is great, crazy to think that in 1972 when I was at Belmont High School in Los Angeles we had dialogue like this in my Political Science class which had a pre-requisite of US History.

We had a similar discussion in 82 in High School (Go Cougars) but today the masses are so uninformed that we get the roster of candidates that we have? When I think of descriptions for each it sounds like a bad rendition of the Gilligan's Island theme? The Pathological Lair/Socialist, Economic Illiterate National Socialist, the Billionaire, the Constitutionally ineligible, and...J.E.B? The nerd? Here on corrupt politician Isle!
How far we have fallen?
