First double-hatted as Regional Operations and Training Officer (N3/N7) for Delaware, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and southern New York, while Executive Officer of adjacent Naval Reserve Center. This became my primary duty when Reserve Center merged with Staff. Transitioned to Regional Manpower Officer (N1) when more senior N1 transferred.

Led daily operations for the 3rd largest Naval Reserve Center on the eastern seaboard, serving 1,800 reservists. Our 35 sailor staff won the Sidney Fields Trophy for best large reserve center in our region, two years in a row.

Vulnerabilty Assessment Team Chief for USCENTCOM's Joint Security Directorate. Commanded a team of officers and senior NCOs conducting anti-terrorism/force protection missions to bases in Qatar, Bahrain, and eastern Afghanistan. Never lost a team member. Everyone came home.
