Very Cool. When I was a TAC Officer at West Point, Darryl was a senior TAC, and he was what all the rest of us wanted to be like. He is the real deal. Good for him and the Corps of Cadets.

Thank you COL Charles Williams
BTW My 1980 USMA classmates have been discussing the fact that President Donald Trump has nominated a graduate from 2003 to be the next Superintendent of USMA, West Point
President Donald Trump has nominated Gen. Darryl Williams as the next Superintendent of the United States Military Academy. He graduated from the United States Military Academy, West Point, in 1983. He is slated to be the 59th superintendent of the U.S. Military Academy.
My class of 1980 was distinguished by the facts that it was the first class in USMA history to include women as cadets and the first class to have a black First Captain - Vince Brooks who is now General Vince Brooks commander of USFK.

By all accounts, he is all the things the Academy needs, but we focus on his race. Oh how I wished I would have lived long enough to see the end of that...
