Tom Murphy. He was my football coach, wrestling coach, and academic advisor in high school. His coach and mentor was Ned Novell, who served under Patton. By the way, Tom was a friend and teammate of Dave Adolph in both high school and college. Adolph coached many college and NFL defenses to include Ohio State, the Cleveland Browns, San Diego Chargers, Oakland Raiders, and Kansas City Chiefs. It is amazing how similar the philosophy of all those men were.

I met MSgt Bernard Botson during my SP18 semester. We took a World Literature course together. Since we met he has pushed me to focus on my education, caused me to reconsider going further (my original plan was to complete on my BA and he convinced me to work for a PhD), and has supported my process of getting and staying sober.
