Hate speech is hate speech whether spoken, written in chalk or painted on a wall. Columbia University has lost control of their school. Those in charge are the ones complicit in the downfall of the university.

I'm with you on this one, not a good look - but I think they have regained "control" at this point. If there had been 24/7 news AND social media during the protests (and riots) about the Vietnam War, imagine the reaction.

The article stated because they were considered "Free Speech" and written in Chalk, therefore could be easily erased they weren't considered hate speech. I cal! B/S because if you wrote the "N" word almost anywhere in any medium it would be considered Hate Speech.
