I'm not surprised. You can be a Soldier, Airman, or Sailor. You have to want to be a Marine.

LTC Trent Klug Amen to that Colonel. Earning the title "Marine" is the crowning achievement of my life. It trumps even my college graduations.

MAJ Dale E. Wilson, Ph.D. They mention in the article about the ASVAB. I have students at my school who come to see me after school for sessions to help get better scores on these tests to they can get the jobs they want. I never turn anyone down to help them. While I wish they would join the Marines I leave that decision totally up to them which branch they decide to serve in. The majority goes Army.

Good for you Brother, I have advised a number of folks on where to get information on the ASVAB and how to get better scores. We have three Public Libraries in the area where the school district I worked for before retirement, so they were most always able to check out literature.
