Well, I had another memory today. I was looking for my reading glasses, forgetting to check my forehead, where a pair was already lazily perched. When I opened a drawer to check for my extra pair, I found a small packet of "Eclipse Sunglasses" left over from the eclipse back a few months.
Well that sent me right to find the picture my grandkids took that day. While we were waiting for the Eclipse to hit 80% (the most it did hereabouts) they told me to lay down in the mulch, and they would take a picture. So I did.
Well, when it came out they started laughing and making comments. My legs look like popsicle sticks. One arm looks like someone was playing with playdow, and my Army shirt glowed. So they thought that was a secret power that only other soldiers could see. (I told them they were close to being right."
Then they made me laugh when they said: " No wonder you always check: "White."
But my favorite comment was when they said it looked like someone stuck human legs and an arm, on a droid.
I can see their point. What else are you supposed to do when the Eclipse is taking forever.
