I love Sausage gravy, made the same as SOS but I don't care for the saltiness of Dried Beef. My wife usually makes it from Sausage or Ground Beef, but this year I put a lot of the Venison I got into Ground and she's been using that for the Sausage Gravy.

I was only about 7 when my Grandpa on my Mothers side passed, he knew how to clean and prepare Turtle. Even as a kid I loved his Turtle Soup, I wish I'd have had a chance to learn from him how he did it.

I like the salty flavor, but then I also enjoy that salty flavor of real country ham. My grandfather was a fisherman out of Massachusetts and would occasionally bring a turtle home. Grandma made a mean turtle stew!
