Winston Churchill had been an army officer since 1895. He finally retired in 1923 as a lieutenant colonel. He did serve in the Boer war, India and in World War I after he left His position as 1st Lord of the admiralty after the fiasco of Gallipoli. He was a true Warrior Prime Minister an honorary colonel for a bunch of units. He had many legitimate metals and wearing the uniform was proper. This story talks about how he was at a destroyed bridge and spotters across the river saw his group and started firing shells near him. Churchill could have been killed in Germany.
