I'll admit I'm a dog fan, but I've seen on Lockup where the prison had cats with inmates and they changed being they had something to care for. If you love your animal and treat it right, both of you will come out winners. Looking forward to getting my GSD later on this year!!

Wow that is a long time to stay in car with a pet cat SSgt (Join to see) or any other kind of pet for that matter. Thankfully that pet cat had compassion and most likely affection for the veteran who "shared" the car with cat unlike the Sheriff's deputy, who treated people with utter disdain.

LTC Stephen F. Nine months with my cat, in my car. Still helped others and it made me feel good about my situation.

SSgt (Join to see) - I said a brief prayer to our Lord and Savior after you mentioned your struggles with the computer keyboard and my friend and brother-in-Christ.
I had pet cats when I was a teenager - one at a time. I am glad your pet cat kept you company for those nine months.

SSgt (Join to see) what a story of amazement perhaps and a companionship like you never heard/seen before. Two years is a long time, hey whatever works to get your through to your destination. Very inspiring and yes intriguing at the same time.
