Trump bragged he would the reduce deficit spending. If my memory is proper, he said in year 8 years he would balance the deficit. In 4 years he doubled it. My question is, is he inept, a liar, or both?

He had no legitimacy or ideology to attempt a coup. He did it because he thirsted for the power. This is third world bullshit, he has so many traits of dictators. SFC Randy Hellenbrand

In fact it occurred to me the GOP is like a brat. It is full of boasting, lying, needling, hate, and lacks requisite intelligence and wisdom. They are mushrooms in a cave. MAJ Ken Landgren

That is just simply not true. It's a myth the rich top 10% want everyone to believe, because it helps them the most. Biden did not raise Federal income taxes a single penny on people earning less than 400,000 dollars a year. He is raising taxes on people who earn over 400,000 to where George W had them (about 40%) and 2 or 3 percent higher on people earning over a million a year, and I guarantee you, we will have the biggest jump in government revenue that the world has ever seen.

Obama raised revenue from 2.5 trillion to 3.3 trillion from 2008 to 2016, when Trump took over, it stayed right at 3.3 trillion for the first 3 years and went up a little his last year. Obama was the mastermind genius in raising revenue steadily and in a sustainable way. Trump lowered taxes and lifted all the restrictions to keep things sustainable and still didn't raise revenue much at all. Joe is going to pick up where Obama left off. Just watch! The word is, it's already looking like 4 trillion for this year, and I would bet 4.25 trillion for 2022.

By the way, Clinton doubled revenue from 1 trillion a year to two trillion a year during his 8 years as President, from 1993 to 2001. The revenue for his years are in the same link.

PFC David Foster - Looks to me like they could raise the corporate income taxes a touch.

SGT Charlie Lee do that suggestion and the net result will be: Less revenue! JFK , Ronald Reagan and Bill Clinton lowered taxes and revenue went up! SrA John Monette SGT Charlie Lee PFC David Foster Lt Col Charlie Brown MAJ Ken Landgren SPC Steven Depuy SFC Casey O'Mally SPC Michael Tierney
