Transferred to hospital in Japan on 12/31/1968, to Fitzsimmons in Denver in January 1969. Assigned to Ft Meade MD in March 1969. Discharged June 1969. Used GI Bill to graduate with Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from U of Minnesota in 1972 then MBA in 1980.

Platoon Guide in basic or AIT is a great job. You get to schedule fire watch and administer weekend passes. Some got punched out or otherwise disrespected but I would guess my experience was more typical.
