Interesting, and frankly a scary video. To date, I have never been handed a firearm and considered it safe. I always check to see if a round is in the chamber, even on weapons I know there is a round in the chamber, I check to make sure it is there.
I took one of my Airmen dove hunting years ago. When we got to the field, he pulled out his shotgun, immediately loaded it, and failed to maintain muzzle discipline. I asked him to Jack his rounds out, then told him what he had done wrong. We got in the vehicle and left. I said I would hunt with him in the future if he followed safe gun handling. Yes we did hunt a few weeks later and he had learned his lesson.

I've seen the same thing at the range, didn't know the person, but I spoke to him about it, he understood and complied.
I think it was my old COP attitude, that got his attention.

I cannot hand a weapon or receive one without the bolt or slide to the rear.
