“It’s ‘R.E.D Friday’ and let us keep faith, hope, and pray each Friday and every day that those service members around the world will return home safely. Let the healing continue for those who did not make it home safely and that is a reminder of the 13 service members who perished on August 26, 2021…

‘I believe our thirteen service members made it home after all.’ – Unknown Author

May we never forget those who’ve come before us and made the ultimate sacrifice for freedoms we enjoy today; may we all continue to fight the good fight to keep those freedoms when called upon; may your mind, body, and soul be opened to grace, goodness, peace, forgiveness, and a continued bountiful life of purpose; and keep your family safe, secure, happy, and healthy.” — COL (Ret) Mikel Burroughs

Good RED Friday Col Burroughs and Posse. We (unfortunately) have fallen to honor this week. Let us not forget those who stood firm to do the hard things required of them and who paid the ultimate price. My heart and prayers go out to the families of the fallen. I hope they do not feel their loved ones died in vain. I honor them for who they are but also who they might have become.
Lots of calls coming in on our hotline; so much pain for our veterans who have been there. PLEASE, if you know someone struggling right now, have them contact one of the hotlines or Give an Hour, or any one of a number of other organizations standing by to help. Message me if you need other options and can't find them.

Yes I do honor the fallen service members whenever the LORD reminds me.
1. Families, friends of the fallen honor them daily.
2. I pray for the safe return of prisoners of the Taliban and others.
3. I pray for recovery, confirmation of identity for the remains of each and every MIA.

Good Friday, September 3, 2021 morning my friend COL Mikel J. Burroughs

Quotes:
1. Calvin Coolidge 'No person was ever honored for what he received. Honor has been the reward for what he gave.' soldiers
2. Douglas MacArthur 'Duty, Honor, Country - Those three hallowed words reverently dictate what you ought to be, what you can be, what you will be. They are your rallying points: to build courage when courage seems to fail; to regain faith when there seems to be little cause for faith; to create hope when hope becomes forlorn.'
3. Arthur Schopenhauer 'Honor means that a man is not exceptional; fame, that he is. Fame is something which must be won; honor, only something which must not be lost.'
4. Samuel Smiles 'The battle of life is, in most cases, fought uphill; and to win it without a struggle were perhaps to win it without honor. If there were no difficulties there would be no success
