LORD I lift the desperate, the homeless, the downtrodden, those abandoned by family, friends, church and government to YOU. I know that YOU are willing to move heaven and earth to aid the downtrodden, the poor, the widow, the widower and the orphan. For a while he refused, but afterward he said to himself, ‘Though I neither fear God nor respect man, yet because this widow keeps bothering me, I will give her justice, so that she will not beat me down by her continual coming.’” And the Lord said, “Hear what the unrighteous judge says. LORD YOU know what needs to be done to unjust leaders, judges, magistrates and legislators who reject YOUR wisdom to their risk as they ignore the pleas of the desperate, the downtrodden and those abandoned by family, friends and governments. ‘Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. For he that soweth unto his own flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth unto the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap eternal life. And let us not be weary in well-doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.’ [Galatians 6:7-9]
