Good morning Col Burroughs on this sunny but cold day in Northern VA.
This is an important topic. I have a lot of people who seem to think that others (usually family members and the medical community) can read their minds. They cannot. You have to speak up for yourself; tell what you need/want and if possible, why as well. Do it rationally but with passion so that you are heard. Otherwise what you need will remain a wish or a want.
It's also important to advocate for causes you believe it. Get behind what you feel is right with actions and funds if you have them. Find some positive way to support what is important to you.

Advocacy Day! seems appropriate.
Here near Washington, DC. the downtown is locked down with many businesses boarded up and more National Guard soldiers that citizens in that area.

The LORD admonishes us to be advocates for widows, widowers, orphans, prisoners and those on sickbeds. HE expects us to have compassion on the homeless.

As a social conservative my hope is in God and not in the incoming administration.
I am a pro-life advocate.
I hope and pray that the LORD blesses each of you with hope and endurance sufficient to meet the challenges we will certainly face this year.

I pray for the widows, widowers, orphans, and at-risk preborn human beings. I pray that YOU bring dreams to each one and give them the opportunity to repent. I pray that many will repent and respect human life. I pray for increased support for adoption both nationally and internationally. For if we go on sinning deliberately after receiving the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, but a fearful expectation of judgment, and a fury of fire that will consume the adversaries.
