An event meant to be a career-builder for women and nonbinary tech workers turned into yet another symbol of the industry's gender imbalance after self-identifying men showed up in droves.
The Grace Hopper Celebration takes the name of a pioneering computer scientist and bills itself the world's largest annual gathering of women and nonbinary tech workers.
Tickets for the four-day event, which took place in Orlando, Fla., last week, ranged in price from $649 to $1,298, and included a coveted chance to meet one-on-one with sponsors such as Apple, Amazon, Salesforce and Google.

I think that this is one of the funniest pieces I've read in a long time. Woke companies giving biological males entry, then complaining that there are too many men! Absolutely hilarious, both as a sign of the times and retribution for preventing men from getting jobs that they are eminently qualified for, no matter how they identify.

Like I said in the past, my mom got the highest grades and that's why she got the scholarship in her piss poor Catholic School in honduras. Had this been done under d i e directives, they would have given the scholarship to give herself a master's degree in social work to the B average indigenous student or the B average black Honduran student instead. The left is so screwed up and they're fostering mediocrity instead of meritocracy.
