First Marine Division launches Operation Cochise in the Que Son valley. Meanwhile, the First Cavalry Division continued with Operation Pershing, a major clearing operation in the Binh Dinh province designed to improve the security situation in support of the ongoing pacification effort.

It too some time but I found some maps for reference SP5 Mark Kuzinski. The location where all the battle stars are is the Que Son valley SP5 Mark Kuzinski. Then there is an image of some marines in the Que Son valley and the last image shows where Binh Dinh province is on the coast.
For many these names are so alien they are not rememberable; for those who fought there and those of us interested in history they are worth remembering for what they cost in terms of human lives.
